HUMAN RACE, WAKE UP!IT IS EARTH REPAIR OR DEATH!
Dear friends and colleagues, I am doing my best to contribute to the “Great Work of Our Time” as John D. Liu terms earth repair. The Global Earth Repair Conference which we held on May 2-6 in Port Townsend is the most important event of my career (which has now spanned 45 years and over 100 major gatherings.) Over 500 people attended from far and near and it was a great success! As a result more earth repair conferences are in the works for South America and Africa The success or failure of humanity to rise to the challenge of earth repair will decide the fate of the human race and many other species. Many people feel our window of opportunity is short. There is a global earth repair movement, but it needs to grow fast. The need is so clear but few governments or policy makers even pay lip service, let alone serious action. We the people have to get on with it. That is why I convened the GERC. I wanted the conference to outline to the world how we can restore the Earth’s ecosystems and to point out the best models. Help us turn the Global Earth Repair website into an ongoing hub of earth repair information. Towards a greener, happier world, Michael Pilarski & the GERC Team CROWDFUNDERWe are currently running a Go-Fund-Me campaign to raise the funds to turn this mountain of data that we got out of our recent conference into youtube videos and documentaries to share with the whole world! We already have put up several dozen videos and have many dozens more to edit and put up. This crowdfunder is meant to supply the funds for editing and uploading. If we get more than that we will apply it towards a documentary. Please watch our content. Please donate and share. VIDEO AND AUDIO DOCUMENTATIONWe had 14 people filming during the conference and they filmed many sessions. Some sessions are already up. See the following urls. There will be a lot of podcasts as well. Our website will be the main repository of links and eventually a directory. We are looking for volunteers with video editing skills to help. Medicinal Herb Micro-Farming: How To Do It!
FEE- LOCATION- This hands-on workshop will show you the possibilities of getting into small-scale medicinal herb production. Useful for those already growing herbs as well as beginners. The main focus will be on what tasks need to be done at this time of year. Our systems are influenced by agroforestry and permaculture. Bring a brown bag lunch.
