'Tis the Season for Permaculture Convergences!

Dear friends and associates,

I am super excited to invite you to three permaculture convergences, an herbal faire in Spokane and a wildcrafting workshop in Weippe, Idaho near the Clearwater River.

The 9th Northwest Permaculture Convergence. October 7-9 at Fort Flagler, Marrowstone Island, WA. I am the overall coordinator this year and we are whipping up a top-notch, exciting event. There will be an illustrious line-up of speakers, presenters, artisans, organizations and businesses. We will have an outstanding Permaculture Fruit & Nut Show, a Northwest Permaculture Pioneers reunion, an International Development and Permaculture Track, lots of artisans at the Skillshare Village and dozens of booths in the Exposition/Trade Show/Vending area. Lots to see and do and lots of networking opportunities.

The 6th Inland Northwest Permaculture Convergence, Sept 9-11 near Spokane, WA. I am part of the organizing committee as usual. This is an annual reunion of permaculture folks around the Inland Northwest. Lots of great workshops and presenters.

The 2nd North American Permaculture Convergence, September 13-18 in Hopland, CA. A chance to tap into the national permaculture movement and meet lots of the movers and shakers. I am not on the organizing committee this year, but will be there to contribute.

I can feel a change coming for me. I am realizing that I don’t need to organize any more permaculture convergences. I am expecting these will be the last permaculture convergences I will organize. I’d like to leave on the note of successful, fun and useful convergences. We are aiming for 400 to 600 participants at the NWPCC and 200 to 300 at the INPC. Don’t miss these chances for more fabulous Skeeter events.

Wildcrafting Workshop at Vedrica community in Weippe, Idaho near the Clearwater River.
Sept 6: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Training for commercial wildcrafters and for home use. Medicinal plants, edible, seeds, crafting, fibers. We are surrounded by useful plants wherever we go. We will cover how to collect, process and ship the main medicinal plants found growing in the region as well as collecting techniques, tools, timing of harvest and processing.

Spokane Herbal Faire

Saturday, September 24 at 10 AM - 5 PM
Unity Spiritual Center

2900 S Bernard St, Spokane, Washington 99203

Promoting the Culture of Herbalism to the Spokane Community, via education, vendors and a socially engaging platform.

As the 2016 faire unfurls, the Herbal Faire organizers are creating an event that has more vendors, more educational opportunities and grants access to everyone. This year, the entrance fee will be by suggested donation. We want everyone to be able to participate, and lack of funds is no reason to turn someone away.
