The Global Earth Repair Convergence is the largest and most important endeavor of my career so far.  It is international in scope and has the potential to be useful for the whole planet.  We are on track to produce the most comprehensive and up-to-date directory to nature-based solutions for climate stabilization and planetary regeneration. We are bringing together many of the world’s leading advocates, practitioners and scientists in many fields of earth repair.  

May 7-11, 2026.  We expect 500 people in person at the Fort Worden Conference Center in Port Townsend, Washington (northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula). 

There will also be an extensive online Convergence. Broadcasting from North America, Africa and Brazil (in Portuguese and Spanish).  It looks like there will be in-person hubs in Sweden, UK, Netherlands, Borneo, Nepal, Australia, Mexico, Colombia and perhaps other places. John D. Liu is helping set up many of these overseas hubs.  

John D. Liu is one of GERC’s advisors, collaborators, inspirations and a well-known filmmaker. Here is a recent message from him about what the Convergence is about.

“This convergence will serve to create nodes around the world that build a mycelial network of ecosystem restoration communities worldwide. These nodes Live, Teach, Document and Create a new paradigm. Birthing The Ecological Civilization that will replace materialism and war with a peaceful and abundant future for the Earth and all life. Paul Hawken took a look at our Master List of Solutions and emailed this back:
"You have been hard at work. You are now the List Master of the world with respect to global warming and planetary restoration, including Indigenous culture." A nice pat on the back for what we are doing from one of the world leaders on the topic.

* I held my first Spring Tree Sale in 1978 and have held plant sales most years since including many which became community plant exchanges.

* This year our in-person tree/plant sales are March 21 in Chimacum, Washington and April 11 in Twisp, Washington. 

* We ship medicinal herb plants anywhere in the USA. 

* We don’t ship trees and shrubs, pick-up only.

Every year we host educational workshops on herb growing, wildcrafting, farming, permaculture and the like.  As well as gatherings like the Northwest Herbal Faire, Global Earth Repair Convergence, Fairy & Human Relations Congress, Permaculture Convergences and others. We have an online calendar so you can see what we are offering in the coming months.
