What is the Global Earth Repair Convergence?
At its core, this is a grassroots-driven effort led by global practitioners who are already doing the work, representing over 1,000 organizations and movements worldwide. Indigenous voices and leadership are a central and essential part of this effort.
The solutions being shared are not hypothetical. They are proven, field-tested approaches already in practice around the world. The convergence focuses on connecting and scaling these efforts, accelerating impact without relying solely on top-down systems.
The convergence takes place over five days, bringing together participants in person alongside a continuous global livestream. It features over one hundred in-person speakers and many more from around the world online, hands-on workshops, and opportunities for practical learning and collaboration. The program also includes cultural and musical elements, creating an engaging and dynamic environment that reflects the diversity of the global Restoration Movement.

What makes GERC different from other conferences/gatherings?
The Global Earth Repair Convergence will create the world’s most comprehensive, freely accessible directory of Earth restoration and Regenerative Agriculture.
Built around a growing master list of over 140 Nature-Based Solutions, the GERC connects real-world projects, practitioners, and resources across the globe. The platform will also include recordings and presentations from global experts, making this knowledge accessible beyond the event itself, creating an evergreen library of vital information to further support the restoration of the planet into the future. By convening a massive gathering of grassroots restoration leaders, scientists, Indigenous voices, and practitioners, the convergence goes beyond a traditional event and serves as a living hub for knowledge, collaboration, and scaling practical solutions worldwide.

How the work will continue after?
Over the next three years, the convergence aims to support the activation of up to 300 million people across 185 bioregions by strengthening connections between individuals and organizations already engaged in Ecosystem Restoration. Rather than starting from scratch, the focus is on catalyzing those who are already involved or inspired by providing the networking and collaboration needed to help their efforts grow and scale. Similar gatherings will be organized in different locations around the world over the next few years to continue to grow this effort.

What is the expected outcome 6-12 month after the event
Participants will be more deeply connected within the global restoration network, with expanded opportunities for collaboration across regions and projects. They will have ongoing access to the Earth Restoration Directory, enabling them to continue learning, sharing resources, and engaging with practical solutions beyond the event. Many will take the next step by joining or strengthening existing restoration efforts within their own communities.
Within 6–12 months, Sponsors and Partner Organizations will be connected to a global network of practitioners, projects, and thought leaders in Ecosystem Restoration and Regenerative Agriculture. They will gain ongoing visibility through the Earth Restoration Directory and associated resources, while aligning with a global, solutions-focused effort that supports their corporate social responsibility goals. Partnerships formed through the convergence are expected to lead to continued collaboration, knowledge exchange, and opportunities to support or scale impactful restoration initiatives.
What is the BIG GOAL?
3 years to continue to activate and catalyze 300 million people around the world to continue restoring 185 bioregions globally, helping reverse desertification, restore forests, and stabilize the climate - in other words, to repair the Earth.
